“PAGEANTRY ENGULFED WITH ICT FOR DEVELOPMENT”
Mr. & Miss ICT/Kujia is one of the ICT for Development social events of a kind in Kenya’s history. It will be held every second Thursday of the Month in 12 Counties starting March 2024 and plans to bring stakeholders from the public and private sector one county at a time.
Mr. & Miss ICT/Kujia will be one of the biggest events in counties organized by Kujia Kenya and partners in host counties ,in the Country and Abroad . Our mission is to promote ICT for development in host counties using talents, brains and beauty among county youth in ICT (students, professionals ,Leaders, Colleges, Companies, and Centers/Charities ) in host countries which in turn the proceeds will be used to build ICT4D hubs at the wards level in counties where Kujia work . Mr. & Ms. Kujia will provide a platform which gives county youth in ICT an opportunity to showcase and grow their talents and abilities.
The theme of Mr and Miss ICT/Kujia will be: “Pageantry Engulfed with ICT for Development.”

Kujia ICT4D Hubs mission is to promote ICT for Development at a county ward level in a manner which empowers Kenyan Youth -majority young women with specialized ICT skills, decent ICT jobs and technoprenuership . And our vision is to be the best grassroot ICT4D Hubs in Kenya.
By 2030- Kujia want to have contributed to the establishment of at least one ICT4D Hub in all the administrative wards in Kajiado, Nairobi, Uasin Gishu, Baringo, Turkana, Marsabit, Laikipia, Samburu, Machakos, and Kwale as part of Kujia’s contribution to Kenya’s vision 2030 and up to 7 SDGs
ABOUT KUJIA
Kujia is a post COVID-19 ICT for Development NGO whose vision is to be the best ICT for Development NGO in Kenya with a Mission to promote ICT for development in Kenya in a manner which empowers Kenyan Youth -majority young women with specialized ICT skills, decent ICT Jobs, and technoprenuership.
Kujia was founded at United States International University –Africa (USIU-A) – Incubation and Innovation hub back in 2019 by Benard O. Nyachieo upon his graduation with a BSc. APT Software Engineering from USIU-A.
OBJECTIVES OF MR AND MISS ICT/KUJIA IN 12 COUNTIES
ICT4D Hubs in All Wards in 12 Counties
As embedded in our mission to promote ICT for development in a manner that empowers Kenyan youth with specialized ICT skills, decent jobs, and technopreneuership. Mr. & Miss ICT/Kujia promotes this mission by organizing a county level event giving all the proceeds from the event to establish ICT4D Hubs at the ward level in Counties. By 2030- Kujia want to give each ward in Homabay, Narok, Kajiado, Nairobi, Uasin Gishu, Baringo, Turkana, Marsabit, Laikipia, Samburu, Machakos, and Kwale an ICT4D Hub.
Creativity, Arts, and talent in 12 Counties.
Mr. and Miss ICT /Kujia will be celebrating creativity, arts and talent among youth representing different communities and cultures in Homabay, Narok, Kajiado, Nairobi, Uasin Gishu, Baringo, Turkana, Marsabit, Laikipia, Samburu, Machakos, and Kwale counties. Mr. & Ms. Kujia will provide youth in Homabay, Narok, Kajiado, Nairobi, Uasin Gishu, Baringo, Turkana, Marsabit, Laikipia, Samburu, Machakos, and Kwale counties from host counties an opportunity to showcase their creativity, arts, and talent. The event will equally encourage competition, embrace gifts from different communities and cultures and promote ICT4D.
Empowerment for the Youth in 12 Counties.
In 2024, Mr & Miss ICT / Kujia will be hosted in 9 counties and from 2025 and beyond the events will be hosted in 12 counties . Mr and Miss ICT/Kujia will empower directly and indirectly hundreds of thousands of youth in all aspects and the proceeds of the event will be used to further empower other hundreds of thousands of Kenyan youth at the county wards level in a manner which empowers Kenyan Youth-majority young women with specialized ICT Skills, decent ICT Jobs , and technoprenuership one county at a time starting with Kajiado County in March 2024.

Dates & Timelines
The date set for Mr & Miss ICT/Kujia events are every second Thursday of the Month starting with Kajiado County in March 2024.
The dates for the pre-judging event are every first Thursday of the Month starting with Kajiado County in March 2024.
The dates for training are the third week (Tuesday-Thursday) of the previous month starting with Kajiado County in March 2024.
The Dates for the Auditions are the fourth week (Tuesday-Thursday) of the previous Month starting with Kajiado County in march 2024.
Activities to promote Mr and Miss ICT/Kujia will be carried out by the Coordinator ,any other partners and Sponsors and the local committee based in the host county 90 days before the prejudging and the main event.
These activities will encourage the participation of county youth in ICT and host county stakeholders to celebrate host county ICT for Development as we approach every Mr. and Miss ICT/Kujia.
