Kujia -Skills-Jobs-Enterprise
“From skills to jobs to enterprise, this journey empowers youth not just to participate in the economy, but to shape it.

Theory of Change
Kenya’s youth make up the majority of the population, yet many face unemployment, limited access to digital skills, and a growing urban-rural divide. Kujia is bridging this gap by unlocking digital opportunities through its Triple E approach—Empower, Employ, and Enterprise—proven to equip young people with the tools, skills, and pathways to thrive in the digital economy.
This approach is grounded in a simple but powerful idea: skills lead to jobs, and jobs create the foundation for enterprise. By progressing through these three stages, young people don’t just gain temporary work—they build long-term, sustainable futures.
Skills .Jobs. Enterprise
The three pillars—Skills, Jobs, and Enterprise—chart a transformative journey that equips youth with capabilities, connects them to meaningful employment, and empowers them to build sustainable livelihoods."

Kujia recognizes that skills alone are not enough. For sustainable transformation, young people need mentorship, platforms for practical experience, access to networks, and a clear pathway to either employment or enterprise. That’s why Kujia combines digital training with mentorship, employment support, and entrepreneurial incubation under its signature Triple E Theory of Change: Empower, Employ, and Enterprise.

Empower Digital Students
This is the foundational stage where youth are equipped with market-relevant, globally competitive ICT and leadership skills. Training focuses on digital competencies such as:
- Cloud computing
- Cybersecurity
- Data analytics
- Digital marketing
- Software development
- Artificial intelligence
In addition to technical training, this phase includes mentorship, life skills, and leadership development to prepare young people for both employment and entrepreneurship.
Goal: Build digital capacity and confidence in youth, especially young women, to thrive in the 21st-century economy.

Employ Digital Techies
Once empowered with skills, the next step is to connect youth to income-generating opportunities. Kujia facilitates employment through:
- Digital job linkages (remote & onsite)
- Internships and apprenticeships
- Freelance and gig platforms
- Job-readiness training
- Resume and interview coaching
This pillar ensures that training is not just theoretical but leads to real-world economic engagement.
Goal: Reduce youth unemployment by bridging the gap between digital skills and access to digital jobs.

Enterprise Development Support for Digital Entrepreneurs
In this final stage, Kujia supports youth to launch and grow their own ICT-based businesses. This includes:
- Digital business incubation
- Coaching and mentorship for startups
- Access to networks, markets, and funding opportunities
- Business skills training (finance, pitching, scaling)
Youth are encouraged to become job creators, not just job seekers, by developing solutions that address community challenges through innovation.
Goal: Foster a culture of youth-led digital entrepreneurship for long-term economic empowerment and impact.
