The Kujia Partners Awards is a national recognition program celebrating outstanding talent in Kenya’s digital and technology ecosystem. The awards honor top-performing students and employees working in six high-impact digital fields:

  • Cybersecurity
  • Cloud Computing
  • Digital Marketing
  • Software Development
  • Data Analytics
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The awards promote excellence, innovation, and regional inclusion across Kenya’s 12 Kujia Kenya regions.

  1. Student Category Eligibility (Ages 18–35)

To qualify for the student awards, nominees must:

  1. Be between 18 and 35 years old
  2. Be a Kenyan citizen
  3. Be enrolled in:
    • A TVET institution (Certificate or Diploma)
    • A university (Undergraduate)
    • A postgraduate program (MSc or PhD)
  4. Be nominated by a legally registered institution based in Kenya
  5. Be pursuing one of the six Kujia Awards digital disciplines
  1. Employee Category Eligibility (Age 18 and above)

To qualify for the employee awards, nominees must:

  1. Be 18 years or older
  2. Be a Kenyan citizen
  3. Be employed in Kenya in one of the six digital fields
  4. Be nominated by an employer, supervisor, organization, or institution based in Kenya
  5. Demonstrate excellence and impact in their digital field

  • Awards are categorized by education level:
    • TVET institutions (Certificate or Diploma)
    • Universities (Undergraduate)
    • Postgraduate programs (MSc or PhD)
  • County Awards: Each county receives awards for the top four nominees within each education category
  • Nairobi: Each of the 17 constituencies receives awards in the same education categories; Kiambu and Kajiado each receive awards by category for top nominees
  • Regional Awards: The highest voted nominee in each region will also be recognized in each education category
  • Ensures local, county-level, constituency-level, and regional recognition, while celebrating achievements across all levels of education

A full day prior to the Kujia Gala Night Awards, nominees will participate in an exclusive Exhibition Day designed to enhance learning, professional development, and access to global technology resources.

  1. Kujia Gala Night Awards

The Kujia Gala Night Awards is the pinnacle of the Kujia Awards program, bringing together nominees, educators, employers, and tech professionals for celebration, networking, and recognition.

  • All nominees, regardless of ranking, are invited to attend with:
    • Friends
    • Family members
    • Supporters
    • Representatives from their institutions or workplaces
  • The gala provides opportunities to:
    • Meet industry leaders, mentors, and educators
    • Celebrate achievements across students and employees
    • Strengthen professional networks across regions and disciplines
  • Proceeds from Gala Night tickets will support youth access to global digital skills, digitally enabled jobs, and digital entrepreneurship activities in counties, ensuring the awards program contributes to sustainable digital development

The Kujia Awards follow the official Kujia Kenya regional chapters, ensuring all 47 counties of Kenya are fully represented. Nominees compete within their regional chapters, guaranteeing equitable recognition.
