The Kujia Exchange Program empowers participants from around the world with immersive experiences, practical training, and professional mentorship in Kenya’s digital economy. The program combines three core offerings — Exchange Safari, Exchange Trainings, and Exchange Mentorships — creating a structured learning journey that blends online preparation months in advance, hands-on experiences, and on-site mentorship in Nairobi. Participants gain high-demand digital skills, guidance from experienced professionals, and first-hand exposure to Kenya’s vibrant tech ecosystem, while engaging in global and local networking opportunities, summits, awards, and social events.
Kujia Exchange Safari
The Kujia Exchange Safari is a 2-week immersive visit to Kenya, held monthly. From January to June, it caters to participants from academia, and from July to December, it focuses on industry professionals. Participants explore Kenya’s technology ecosystem, meet innovators and business leaders, and experience the country’s dynamic entrepreneurial landscape firsthand.
Safari participants also attend the Kujia Summits and Awards, where they engage with global thought leaders, showcase achievements, and celebrate excellence in digital innovation and entrepreneurship. In addition, local professionals join participants for breakfasts, cocktail parties, and gala dinners, providing informal networking opportunities to connect with local talent, explore partnerships, and expand professional networks during the Safari experience.
Kujia Exchange Trainings
The Kujia Exchange Trainings begin with online sessions months before the visit to Kenya, covering theory, practical exercises, and case studies in high-demand digital domains: Cloud Computing (January & July), Cybersecurity (February & August), Digital Marketing (March & September), Data Analytics (April & October), Software Development (May & November), and Artificial Intelligence (June & December).
After completing the online modules, participants travel to Kenya to join the Kujia Exchange Safari, gaining hands-on experience and networking with industry leaders. Trainings culminate in a 3-5 day in-person session in Nairobi, allowing participants to apply their skills in real-world projects under the guidance of expert trainers. Its Optional to start with the Exchange Safari . Kujia Exchange Trainings can also be organized in Outside Kenya .
Kujia Exchange Mentorships
The Kujia Exchange Mentorships are designed for aspiring and existing digital entrepreneurs who want to accelerate their growth and build successful ventures in the digital economy. The program begins months in advance with online sessions, providing participants with foundational knowledge in their chosen domain: Cloud Architecture, Ethical Hacking, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Software Development, and AI Engineering.
After completing the online preparation, participants travel to Kenya to join the Kujia Exchange Safari, where they immerse themselves in Kenya’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. The mentorship culminates in a 3-day intensive in-person session in Nairobi, where participants receive personalized guidance, practical insights, and strategic advice from experienced mentors.
Through the mentorship, digital entrepreneurs gain hands-on experience, expand their networks, and receive support in transforming ideas into scalable digital solutions. Participants also engage with local professionals during breakfasts, cocktail parties, and gala dinners, and attend the Kujia Summits and Awards, providing opportunities to showcase their achievements, learn from industry leaders, and build global connections. participating in the Exchange Safari is optional and exchange Mentorships can also be organized outside Kenya
